General Terms & Conditions of Dental Research & Education GesnbR, Liezen (Austria), for the purchase of one or several tickets for an online course in 2021 (current valid version)
1. Organizer
Organizer of the online courses in 2021 is the Dental Research & Education GesnbR, Kornbauerstraße 38, 8940 Liezen, Austria.
2. Scope
The following terms and conditions apply regarding the purchase of educational event tickets, ordered online or via letter or email between the Dental Research & Education GesnbR (hereafter: the Provider) and the purchaser of an educational event ticket (hereafter: the Client). Deviations from the general terms and conditions of the Provider are only valid, if they have been confirmed in written form by the Provider. Any claims of the Client cannot be based on his/her own business or purchase conditions. Further event-specific conditions can be read on the Providers website (www.fab2dent.com).
3. Conclusion of contract
The Client’s submission by sending his/her registration to the event is binding. The contract is concluded, when the Provider has registered the payment of the educational event fee.
4. Payment methods (by bank transfer)
The client will be asked to pay the educational event fee, without additional costs, after receiving from the Provider the confirmation/invoice stating the client’s name and the invoice number. The Provider will send the invoice by email. The terms of payment are stated on the invoice. Cash payment is not possible. In the case of late payment, the Provider is entitled to standard interest on arrears. Confirmation of participation will be issued only after payment has been registered. The Client has to be aware, that the number of participants in the educational events is limited. Spots for the events are distributed in the order of receipt of the payment. In the case of overbooking, the Client will be notified by the Provider.
5. Refunds / Cancellation
Cancellations must be sent in written (by letter or e-mail to office@fab2dent.com). For any cancellation a handling fee of EUR 20,00 per person will be charged.
If the registration is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the event (date of receipt by letter or e-mail), 50% of the course fee will be refunded. If a registered participant does not attend the event, the Client has no right for a refund.
If the educational event fee has already been paid, the refund will be executed within 30 days via bank transfer of the corresponding amount on the bank account specified by the Client. Handling fees (as mentioned above) will be deducted.
6. Changes / Cancel
The Provider reserves the right to exchange speakers, to relocate the location and time-point of an educational event and to make changes to the program. Indemnification claims are excluded.
7. Liability
The Provider is not liable for any loss, accident or damage to persons or objects, no matter what the cause is. Participants and accompanying persons attend the event at their own risk and responsibility. The Client acknowledges that he/she cannot file any indemnification claims from the Provider, if the execution/staging of the educational event is hindered or prevented due to unforeseen political, economic or climatic reasons, due to any changes in the program based on cancellation of speakers, etc. By registering to an event the Client accepts this condition.
8. Privacy Policy
The Provider takes extensive precautions to protect the Client’s personal information. The Client’s data will be kept strictly confidential, stored in a secure environment and protected from unauthorized access. Only authorized employees have access to it. The privacy policy published on the website (www.fab2dent.com) applies.
9. Photos, Videos, Quotes / Copyright and other rights
During the educational event hosted by the Provider, photos and videos including sound maybe taken. By participating in the event, each client agrees that the recorded material may be used without restriction for educational related activities, such as marketing purposes. Quotes given in interviews, or on the website (www.fab2dent.com), Instagram, or Facebook on our feedback forms may also be used for event-related content. Of course, the Provider will gladly acknowledge the source.
A recording of the event by video (also by mobile phone) or audio recording is in general not allowed. Please contact the Provider before the educational event, if desired.
All rights of the documents submitted for the online courses remain in their entirety with the Provider. The documents are for personal use only and are not released for unauthorized distribution or publication.
10. Jurisdiction and applicable law
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contract is Liezen; only Austrian law is applicable.
11. Final clause
Should one or more regulations of these terms and conditions be ineffective, this does not entail the ineffectiveness of the entire contract. The ineffective regulation will be replaced by the pertinent statutory regulation.
